This policy explains how AgroTech Security collects, uses, stores and protects the personal data it receives through https://agrotechsecurity.com and in its dealings with customers and prospects, in compliance with Colombian Statutory Law 1581 of 2012 and its regulations.

02Legal framework
This policy is governed by Article 15 of the Colombian Constitution, Statutory Law 1581 of 2012, Chapter 25 of Single Decree 1074 of 2015 (which incorporates Decree 1377 of 2013) and the guidance of the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (SIC), Colombia's data protection authority.

Through the contact form
- Name.
- Company.
- Email address.
- Size range of your operation in hectares.
- The message you write.
Automatically when you submit the form
- Date and time of submission, IP address and site language, as evidence of your authorization.
We do not request sensitive data (health, biometrics, ethnic origin, political or religious views) or data about children and teenagers. Please do not include it in your message.

04Purposes of processing
We use your data to:
- Answer your request and schedule platform demos.
- Prepare commercial proposals and manage pre-contractual and contractual relationships.
- Send you information about our products related to what you requested. You can ask us to stop at any time.
- Comply with legal, accounting and regulatory obligations.
- Protect the security of the site and prevent fraud or abuse of the form.
We do not sell or rent your personal data.
05Data processed in the platform
When a company subscribes to the platform, it may upload or generate data about its operation: sensor readings, locations, traceability records, account users and video surveillance footage from its premises.
In those cases the customer is the controller and AgroTech Security acts as processor: we process that data only to provide the service, following the customer's instructions and the data processing agreement signed with them.
The customer is responsible for informing workers, contractors and visitors about video surveillance (for example, with visible signs) and for obtaining any authorization required by law.
06Your rights
As a data subject you may:
- Access, update and correct your personal data.
- Request evidence of the authorization you gave us.
- Be informed about how your data has been used.
- File complaints with the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce, after completing the request or complaint process with us.
- Revoke your authorization and request deletion of your data, unless a legal or contractual duty requires us to keep it.
- Access your personal data free of charge.
07Requests and complaints
Write to contacto@agrotechsecurity.com stating your name, ID number, a description of your request, a contact address and any supporting documents. If you act on behalf of someone else, attach proof of representation.
Requests
We answer within ten (10) business days of receipt. If that is not possible, we will tell you why and when you will receive an answer, no later than five (5) additional business days.
Complaints
To correct, update or delete data, or about an alleged breach, we respond within fifteen (15) business days, extendable by up to eight (8) business days with notice of the reason. If the complaint is incomplete, we will ask you to complete it within five (5) days; if two (2) months pass without a reply, it will be deemed withdrawn.
08Authorization and evidence
By ticking the box on the form you give prior, express and informed authorization for the processing of your data for the purposes described. We keep the date, time, IP address and the version of this policy in force at that moment as evidence of your authorization.
09Providers and international transfers
To run the site and email we use providers that may process data on our behalf, including our web hosting provider, whose servers may be located outside Colombia (for example, in the United States). These transfers are made under agreements that require the provider to protect the data and use it only to serve us, in line with Article 26 of Law 1581 of 2012 and Decree 1074 of 2015.
We will only share data with authorities when a law or a court order requires it.
10Information security
We apply reasonable technical and administrative measures to protect your data: encrypted connection (HTTPS), restricted access to submission records, protection of server files and review of our providers. No system is infallible; if an incident affects your data, we will report it to the SIC and to the affected data subjects as required by law.
11Retention
We keep data from commercial requests for up to two (2) years after the last contact, or until you ask us to delete it. Customer data is kept for the duration of the contract and for as long as accounting, tax and commercial laws require.
12National Database Registry
AgroTech Security will register its databases in the SIC National Database Registry when required to do so under Decree 090 of 2018.
13Effective date and changes
This policy is effective as of October 27, 2026. If we change it materially, we will publish the new version on this site and, where the law requires, request a new authorization. Databases will remain in force for as long as the purposes described apply.
The Spanish version of this policy prevails in case of discrepancy.
